Mrs. Jacqueline Lewis-Secretary
Mrs. Jacqueline Lewis, President of the Jamaica Organization of New Jersey, grew up in Kingston, Jamaica where she attended the Queen’s School.
She studied nursing and midwifery in Glasgow, Scotland and worked in Jamaica at the Annotto Bay and Victoria Jubilee Hospitals as a registered nurse and midwife.
She obtained a BBA in Accounting at Pace University and worked at Cooper’s & Lybrand as a CPA. She later worked at MetLife Insurance Company.
While at Pace University, Ms Lewist was president of the National Association of Black Accounts (NABA) student chapter for two years.
Currently she serves as a volunteer for Harvest of Hope Family Services Network, Inc., a contracted foster care and adoption agency, that addresses the foster care crisis in New Jersey by recruiting foster and adoptive families. Jacqueline feels strongly that one person can make a difference.
Ms Lewis currently lives in North Brunswick with her Husband and two daughters.
